After the audit: a plan in order, and help carrying it out

The Implementation Plan puts every action in one of four tiers. The foundation comes first.

New content published on a broken foundation repeats the problem at a larger scale.

Illustrative data for the fictional Harbor Light Inn. Action R3: add a Docking and boating section. It fixes finding L2-3: the dock is in photographs and never in page text. A quick win for the marketing manager, about two hours, under the property's control. At the audit, the word dock appears on 0 of 31 pages and 0 of 12 boating questions name the inn, while rivals are named in 9 of 12. The target, set before the work: at least 4 of 12. Retests follow at 30 and 90 days.
Example: one action, its baseline and the target set before the work.
The plan

Four tiers, foundation first

Tier 1

Quick Wins

Changes your team can make in days: a fact added to a page, a place record corrected, a crawler unblocked, a listing claimed.

Tier 2

Structural Fixes

Work over weeks: page templates, structured data, site sections that answer the questions you lose, the booking handoff.

Tier 3

Strategic Build

Content and coverage on the third-party sites AI reads in your market, built after the Quick Wins have shipped.

Tier 4

Ongoing Monitoring

A named owner, written documentation that survives staff changes, and the warning signs of decay.

Every surface is updated within 48 hours of an operational change.

From a real resort audit: a bar split in three, 17 actions the property can make now, 9 to submit to the brand, and 3 recorded with no one able to act. 29 actions in all.
From a real resort audit. Every action in the plan says who can make it.
Illustrative action plan for the fictional Harbor Light Inn, in order. R1 correct the year opened on two listings, a quick win the property controls. R2 let AI crawlers through at the CDN edge, a quick win for the web vendor. R3 state the private dock in page text, a quick win. R4 publish one capacity for the event lawn, a structural fix. R5 mark up rooms, rates and location, a structural fix for the web vendor. R6 earn a place in the cited harbor guide, a strategic build that is earned, not owned.
Example: the plan in order, with who controls each action.
Who can do it

Every action says who can carry it out

Each action is tagged by who controls the surface it changes: you, your brand, or nobody.

For a hotel under a flag, a franchise or a managed property, the plan splits three ways. Property: within your reach now. Brand: submitted to the brand with the request path. None: recorded, and cannot be changed at the property. The measurement is identical either way, so your score compares with an independent business's.

  • The measurement is identical either way, so your score compares with an independent business's.
  • Each action carries its finding code, so anyone on your team can trace it to the evidence.
Doing the work

Two ways to do the work

Your team or your agency

The plan names the page, the change, the listing and the passage to publish, specific enough to carry out without interpretation.

Vivander helps fix it

Vivander Advisors can do the work with you as a separate engagement: page rewrites, structured data, listings and content for third-party sites.

We also run the remediation sprints.

30 days
Targeted retest

A targeted retest at 30 days, quoted separately.

90 days
Full retest

A full retest at 90 days, quoted separately.

Illustrative data for the fictional Harbor Light Inn. R1 year opened: wrong in 2 of 3 tries at the audit, target 0 of 3, read at day 30. R2 AI crawlers: 3 blocked, target 0, day 30. R3 private dock: 0 of 12 questions, target at least 4 of 12, day 90. R5 room markup: none, target served, day 30. Two facts are held back as a control, so a shift across all AI tools is not counted as a result.
Example: retests read each action against its written target.

Weekly measurement after the audit is a separate subscription; the audit does not include platform access. Read how Vivander Visibility Monitoring works.
